RemoPay ("we", "us", "RemoPay") provides free calculators for freelancers and remote workers at remopay.app (the "Service"). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Service, how it's used, and the choices you have.
The numbers you enter into a RemoPay calculator (income, rates, savings, and so on) are processed entirely in your browser. They are not sent to, or stored on, our servers. Closing or refreshing the page clears everything you entered.
Like most websites, we use analytics and advertising services that collect some information automatically when you visit, including:
This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4) and is not tied to your name or email address, since RemoPay does not have accounts or require you to provide either.
RemoPay may display ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. These partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.
We use cookies for three purposes: keeping the site working correctly, understanding how the Service is used (analytics), and serving relevant ads (advertising). When you first visit, you can choose to accept or decline non-essential (analytics and advertising) cookies through the cookie banner. Essential cookies that keep the Service functioning cannot be disabled.
Some links on RemoPay — particularly on the Resources page — are or may become affiliate links. If you sign up for a platform through one of these links, RemoPay may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only list platforms we believe are genuinely useful for freelance and remote work, regardless of whether a commission is involved.
We do not sell personal information. Limited, non-identifying data (such as the analytics described above) is shared with service providers — currently Google, for analytics and advertising — strictly to operate and improve the Service.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of information about you, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (for example under the GDPR in the UK/EU, or the CCPA in California). Because RemoPay does not collect names, emails, or account data, most of these rights apply to the limited analytics/advertising data described above, which you can control through the cookie banner and the opt-out links in Section 3.
RemoPay is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
